WE ARE SO LUCKY!!!!! Wow we have TWO library helpers! Susan and Marlene came today to start labelling our library books. Marlene taught the kids how to browse in our library. We all have a magic wand (ruler) in our hand to put where we take our books out. The kids were all given a ziplock bag to take a book our for a week. They don't have to take a book out (but they all wanted too!). They loved looking at new books.
We loved looking at tough books (like novels) and books about animals.
Marlene even put books out that we are learning about right now... Plants! She is amazing. I didn't even know we had all these plant books!
Samantha was very excited to find a fairy book. These are the book bags that they took home today.
OK DID I TELL YOU OUR KIDS ARE LUCKY? The Canadian Children's Book Centre (CCBC) donated to each Grade One students (yes we are lucky because they give them to all our students every year) in our school. This book was placed in your child's agenda and it is for them to keep!
