Poetry Unit: I Would Love to be a Horse

I absolutely love this poem, in fact, I feel if I could be an animal I would totally be a horse.  My favourite part of the poem is the end, "I am alive."  I feel like that sometimes with the wind blowing through my hair down the ski slope with my hands up in the air!  I most certainly would be a horse!

This lovely drawing was done by Samantha in Grade K.  I love the choice of pink and purple for the sand on the beach.

Then the Grade 1-3 answered a few questions.

 I enjoyed Daniel's answers for "Understanding the Poem."  He would be a polar bear!  I think he drew one cute polar bear!
