We are learning about nouns and verbs in school (click here for the mini booklets). We are having lots of fun running around the classroom searching for nouns. We are on our second book of nouns right now and will soon be moving on to verbs. Thanks to my wonderful Auntie Sue she reminded me of the Schoolhouse Rock series. The series came out in 1973 (I was not around when they came out) and they would come over your TV while you were watching cartoons. I still remember the "conjunction, conjunction, what's your function?" Anyways, I found the Schoolhouse Rock videos on nouns and verbs. The kids were pretty silent when I played the nouns video but I think it's because I was a little too excited to show them it! haha. We are doing a lot of singing in our classroom so be prepared for a noun or verb tune!
