Jackson Pollock Artwork

We watched some of this amazing video on Jackson Pollock.  I strongly suggest taking the time to learn a little about this artist.  The kids loved seeing the barn where he created his artworks.

Today we worked on step two of our amazing art piece.  The first part we used chalk and pastel designs to experiment with different techniques.  The second part we tried a variety of techniques inspired by Jackson Pollock's famous controlled drip technique using tempera paint (washable on clothes... hopefully).

The painting is currently drying on our wall and we all can't wait to see what it will look like finished and complete.

Stay tuned for more transformation.
