Today we learned about Martin Luther King. We learned about what he fought for (racial equality) and what he tried to stop (racial segregation). In memory of Martin Luther King we decided to do something from the South..... Corn Muffins!
We mixed the dry ingredients
We mixed the wet ingredients
We mixed the wet and dry ingredients together.
We scooped out the dough and put them in the tin.
We tasted the batter and realized there was no sugar in the one batch! haha. We then put it back in the bowl and added some sugar. Hopefully they turn out alright.
Thank you so much Liz for all your help making the corn muffins. As well, thank you Trevor (fire fighter) for helping us today!
