Milkshake breathing is way for the kids to help themselves feel calm and its changed just by the way you breathe.
Each child uses a straw and a glass to practice their milkshake breathing. I tried to emphasize how important it is to do this very slowly and gently. The slower we breath the better. Slow breathing calms us down!

Afterwards, we did some meditation. The kids were practically asleep at the end of this lesson. We were all so calm and quiet. It was pretty amazing :)
In our next session, we will be practicing yoga as a form of relaxation and an art of balance.
