The balloon that was popped allowed them to read outside during silent reading. This could have been the best balloon popped yet! The kids were absolutely silent, with the birds chirping, and them reading! I can't believe how much an environment changes their moods, they were quiet afterwards and relaxed. They think reading should be outside everyday (and I couldn't agree more).
