Today in Science we made some explosions... pop explosions! I am sure a lot of you have seen this experiment or done it yourself (it is a lot of fun if you haven't). The kids made a hypothesis based on the ingredients what will happen to the pop. Then we used our handy dandy Geyser Tube (pictured below) and filled it with Mentos mints. We pulled the pin of the tube and the mentos dropped into the pop. Then a large eruption of pop exploded into the air. This Geyser Tube can be bought at Walmart if you are interested.
