The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

We are just about to finish reading The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo.  This book is seriously amazing.  The kids are hooked and it is a book for all ages.  The reviews from amazon will support my theory.  I haven't found one person say anything bad about this book.  I always use this one site to check whether it is appropriate for the students.  In class the kids created all the characters from the book.  We then put them in order from the first person to meet Edward all the way to the last.  If we had more time we could also draw what Edward looked like every time he had no owners.  I bought my book from Chapters and the paperback is only $8.
