On Friday, Beaverdell students came to visit our school. We have been penpal buddies since the beginning of the years so the kids were really excited to meet their penpals!
We had a fun filled day planned for our friends from Beaverdell. We started our day with some math sorting, graphing, counting, and making equations.
This yummy math was from this Valentine Package!
They were all very interested in eating the candies while they were doing the math.

Then we took the Beaverdell students for a skate. They were all excited to skate outside. We also had a special surprise for them with Big White Staff Events bringing us hot chocolate. Thanks Miranda for organizing that!

After skating we came back and ate some hotdogs and carrots. Thanks Susan and Jenn for cooking the hotdogs ahead of time.
We finished our day with more yummy math and Valentine sentences!
Thanks Beaverdell for bringing this amazing cake! The inside was even pink! Thank for coming to visit us Beaverdell students we had a ton of fun. The next time we meet we will be heading to Beaverdell!
