Today we completed our Haiku poem. A haiku poem is basically three lines of 5, 7, 5 syllables. I thought this was going to be the hardest poem yet but they mastered this poem so quickly! I was very impressed. We only have one more poem left and then we are all done our poetry unit.
Sorry for the sideways pictures but sometimes this blog site just doesn't want them to be upright!
Soon these all these lovely poems the kids have created will be bound and made into a book. I am so excited to give them this gift!
