Today was a very special day for our Space lesson. Chris Hadfield is coming down from Space today. We watched the last video he made from Space. We all enjoyed when he "threw" his guitar.
Then we watched this video about the sense, taste, in Space.
Afterwards, I had a big surprise for the kids. I had space food for them to try. Montessori teaching states that using the 5 senses to teach the children will enhance their learning. The funny thing is, space food is really easy to get. If you go to any camping store (I bought my package from Walmart USA for $2). They found it really cool that the ice cream doesn't expire until 2042.
The kids loved it!
