My lovely Grandma emailed me yesterday with this video of underwater footage. I was in awe of the colour, the life, and the adventure. It got me thinking! I don't share enough of the world with my students. I have the Blue Planet and Planet Earth DVDs and I think I played them 4 years ago if we were studying a certain topic but I never shared them just cause. I think these types of videos are of such a benefit to a child to see. For a child to be in awe of our world, to appreciate our land, to respect our world, to inspire adventure, and most importantly to learn! The list could go on and on... So thank you Grams for sharing this wonderful footage you have inspired me.
