Merry Christmas!

So, we have had a bit of a scare and the baby decided they wanted to greet the world early. Thankfully we were able to calm and relax the baby and I plan on making that baby stay in there much longer!  However, I have not been able to be at school the last couple of days and it's killing me.  Thankfully I found these photos on my camera and it warms my heart looking at those darling kids.
 Arnold sure misses the classroom!

This was our self-exploration time last week.  This is the kids favourite subject and I absolutely love walking around the classroom watching their creative, genius brains work.

This photo is pretty cute!  Mrs. Austin came to school early just to bring me a coffee and watch the kids explore!

I wish I could climb into the forest but I was only able to capture the cuties that were up top playing at recess.  Aren't they precious?

Finally, on Thursday's I teach art to all students at Big White.  Yes, art consists of 10 grades all learning at the same time!  Crazy right?  Well, it is unbelievable the development you are able to see in one lesson and I wouldn't want it any other way!

In this lesson we did a bit of directed drawing.  The kids loved following step-by-step instruction and creating something they did not know what it was going to look like in the end.  We also made a lot of snowflakes for our Christmas Play too!

Here are the two directed drawing videos if you are interested in creating your own drawings at home.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and loving Christmas, filled with lots of love and laughter.
