We have our nature prints on display (documentation). They showcase our exploration with nature and using black paint we found some amazing techniques that we didn't know were possible.
We have a butterfly display that the kids have taken over. They love the butterfly glasses more than anything. I can't stop taking their photos when they put them on. So cute!
Some of the children have started a daycare/preschool in our classroom for stuffies. They all do a lot of math at this preschool and the kids have created their own version of Jump Math for their stuffies to do. Can you spot our caterpillars? They aren't supposed to be touched and for some reason every time I go to the back table they have been rearranged. We are hoping they will still form a chrysalis even though we are bothering them haha.
This was our art lesson this week. We played a game where you draw a head, then you fold the paper down, then you pass it to someone new and they draw the body, finally pass it to someone else and they draw the bottom half. The last person with unravel the paper and reveal the creature you have created. There was A LOT of laughing while this was happening.
Our Matter Unit is now on display outside. It took me way too long to put it up but I kept forgetting nails and a hammer at home. Either way, we have it out on display and it looks fantastic. I don't think this will be our last outdoor display. Let's hope it stay up!
Happy Saturday Everyone!
