Butterflies + Art

We have let our butterflies go!  I am a little late {these photos were taken last week}.  Our little flyers were ready to see the world and we released them into the wild!  The kids were so excited to see them  up close and not behind a white netting.

In art, we created Happiness Pebbles.  It's a wonderful lesson taken from Marghanita's online workshop.  We talked about what makes us happy,  we put all our happy vibes on the pebble we each chose, then we created something that makes us happy on the rock.

We were so lucky to have a special helper, Nettie (Sam and Jason's Aunt) help us for the day.

Our finished products!

I could feel, see, hear the happiness in the air all art class.  It was a special art class that I will cherish for a long time!

We also talked about the Fort McMurray fire and how sad some of the families and children must be feeling.  We decided to create more Happiness Pebbles {in a smaller size} to send to the children of Fort McMurray.  We created the rocks and this week we will be packaging them up to send away too!
Stay tuned for the final products that we will be sending away!
