Today We did the Peanut characters for our journal topic. The kids really liked the books but had a hard time writing lots without having to get up, ask me questions, or just even to write. So today we wrote anything we could for one minute. I found out how many words on average each grade can write per minute and my expectations are a certain amount per 10 min of writing. Wish me luck for Day Two!
These pictures are of the kids choosing the characters that they think they are most like. Then they wrote about them afterwards.
