FRIENDS! Session

Today we talked about helpful (green thoughts) and unhelpful (red thoughts) thoughts.  Red thoughts are things we say to ourselves in our heads that makes us feel unhappy feelings.  Helpful green thoughts are the things we say to ourselves in our heads that make us feel good feelings.  We talked about how what we can do with a "red" thought.  Whether it is talking to somebody about it or we can try and think "green" thoughts.  If we use the same language at school and at home the kids are more likely able to associate their feelings better with their thoughts and hopefully change from a red thinker to a green thinker!
