Today we made caramel popcorn. It was very excited to see the liquid goo turn into this thick caramel paste for the popcorn. The little ones (Gr. K/1) also were really excited to pop the popcorn in all of our microwaves. They loved the smell, the heat of the bag, and the sounds!

The counter was a bit too high for all of us to work with.
Then we mixed it all and baked it in the oven.
Here is the recipe but it has been sent home with all the students in their agendas. Thank you Liz for helping us out today. We had so much fun and it wouldn't happen without you!
Our whole school smells like caramel now.... mmm :)
