Can You Tell I Really Like Halloween?

Today was Halloween and we sure had fun.  We were all dressed in our best and ready for a day filled with learning, play, and exploration.

We played lots of Math games.  We played a game called Boo Bump!  It's a freebie too.

The Grade K and 1's played Roll-a-Monster.  This isn't free but a great resource.

The Witch's Brew.  This is a freebie and mentioned in an previous post.

I dressed up as Ms. Frizzle!  Make mistakes, take chances, and get messy!

We had a Halloween Party in the afternoon for the kids.  They went through a Haunted House created by the wonderful parents.  Then we had six stations for the kids to explore.
1. Wizard Potions.  Susan and Chris created a wonderful station where the students made slime.

2.  Bobbing for Pears (we have the fruit and veggie program at our school and have a case of pears).  This station was surprisingly tough.

3.  Activity Booklet.  A variety of worksheets for the students to complete for some Big Bucks!

4.  The Mad Laboratory.  I talked about this in a previous post and the kids absolutely loved this station.

A party wouldn't be complete without a treat table.
We are missing photos of the Halloween bingo station and the Skeleton exploration station.

Happy Halloween Everyone!  :)
