Karen (my wonderful mother-in-law) shared this awesome thriller video from youtube. We have been playing it all this week and the kids love dancing to it.
When searching for this skeleton dance I came across this awesome movie called Witches in Stitches. I am not too sure if we will have time in school to watch this but it could be great to watch at home! Click here for part one and then part two.

We completed our Spooky Halloween book today. We first read the book, The Haunted House by Eve Bunting. It helped us come up with great describing words. We then brainstormed some haunted house/halloween describing words (we started off a little off-track but at the end the students were getting some great descriptive words). I used First Grade At Last!'s The Spooky House packet to create a classroom book.
The book is complete and ready for reading.
