Wednesday + Thursday

On Wednesday we did word work and that is when we get to "quiz" a partner on our spelling words.  The students get to use some neat tools to spell their words including pebbles, whiteboards, stamps, letter tiles, magnetic letters, and play doh.

In Science, we learned about physical and chemical changes.  We then decided to break some crayons and melt them creating a physical change.  The kids were in awe of their new crayons (3 crayons melted down into one crayon).

Ta-da, the end result!

Finally, it's one special boys birthday and we couldn't say enough about this cool kid.  We made him one really cool necklace!  We wrote on each piece of paper telling him how much we like him.  Happy Birthday!
