Play dough is a timeless classic. The tactile learning, the ooey gooey mess, and the art making... oh the creativity! I inspired the children with showing them this website and the kids were so excited to use things to poke into the play dough.... toothpicks, googly eyes, beads, and gems! We also used some amazing household kitchen tools to explore with.
The play dough was a little sticky at the beginning but we figured it out!
This is a hard concept for the children to understand... making something, taking a photograph to capture their finished piece, and then destroying it and taking it apart. I am a firm believer that the art is in the process not the product and so it's my favourite to walk around and watch as the children explore with their art making and process.
Sorry Ethan... I didn't write down your art piece title. I was still testing out how to photograph their art pieces with the light.
If you right click on the pictures you are able to save them to your computer and print them off for your walls at home! Enjoy these wonderful pieces of work.
Happy Spring Break everyone!
